Because SPGC has been entrusted with the care of our own historical grave markers and the pioneer cabin,
members have a special interest in the history of Sequim and all of the Olympic Peninsula. Our group
toured the North Olympic History Center (formerly Clallam County Historical Society) and were treated
to a tour of the research library, the artifact collection, the old Lincoln School and the organization
offices by the Executive Director, Kathy Monds Estes. Their dedication to the preservation of local
artifacts will benefit all future generations.
