The Club traveled to Kingston to view the botanical garden now owned by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.
This property was originally owned by Dan Hinkley and many of the rare and unusual trees, shrubs and perennials
were collected by him from all over the world. Many of the different garden rooms continue to reflect his
personal touch. There is an incredible number of unusual shade plants artfully arranged. The architectural
shrub arrangement in the sun gardens is inspiring as well. This is a field trip that inspires every gardener.
