The 102nd Clallam County Fair’s theme was Country Nights and Carnival Lights. It reached the second highest attendance record of 31,509.
The responsibility for decorating the Floral Barn is rotated among the garden clubs in Clallam County. It was the Sequim Prairie Garden
Club’s turn to decorate the Floral Barn this year and it received the Best Barn award from the State Fair Commissioners. The Floral
Barn has not received that award in anyone’s recent memory. Vina Winters received a Best in Show and Best in Division Award for a
succulent wreath. Another succulent wreath received honorable mention. Suzan Mannisto received a Best In Division for an orchid
that wowed fair patrons.
