Thirteen club members and three guests enjoyed strolling through the garden of Marilyn Reinarz. Her beautiful home and garden
sits on five acres with a panoramic view of the Olympic mountains. She describes the beginning of her garden as she and her
husband randomly planting flowers, trees and shrubs in a hayfield. Since then, many things have been rearranged to allow
for growth. The gardens appear to have a “plan” now. Over the years, she has come up with the ideas and her husband
builds or plants them for her. Once the idea is completed, she takes care of everything else. She finds perpetual
inspiration for her garden. Her husband describes some as “far out”, but they always become wonderful whimsical additions.
She describes her garden as simple and rustic.
