Carole has been in the business of book binding for most of her adult life. Now that she is retired, she’s ready to share her expertise with us. Finally…something to do with all those pressed flowers! Supplies will be available for purchase after the talk.

Speaker: Bobby Daniels
Bobby is a longtime member of the Port Angeles Garden Club. She is very concerned about how light pollution can affect the lives of our local wildlife. She will be sharing ways that light pollution can be minimized in our own backyards to aid the birds and other sensitive wild creatures that surround us.

Speaker: Dennis Wistendorf
Dennis, from Razors Edge, is an expert at keeping all manner of tools sharp and ready to use. He will be giving us pointers on how to take care of all our tools, from scissors to garden shovels.

Bring a wrapped present for the gift exchange ($15 - $20 suggested)

Sliced ham will be provided by the Club.
Members bring salads, side dishes or desserts.
Remember to bring new, unwrapped toys or children’s clothing for the Sequim Community Aid annual drive.

Renne is a well-known local artist and teacher with experience in a variety of mediums. She will be talking to us about how flowers have always been an inspiration for artists.

English Gardens: Speaker: BJ Patton
BJ is a beloved member of our own Club with a delightful sense of humor. People loved her presentation on English gardens so much that they asked to hear it again. English gardens, with their gorgeous colors and lush landscapes (not to mention the follies) are beloved the world over.

Matt, owner of ONA Landscaping, creates integrated garden designs for individual customers. He will be giving us ideas that we can integrate into our own gardens

Meg owns and operates the Sequim Bee Farm. They make fabulous honey with different flavors depending on the flowers involved. Meg will explain to us some of the processes of bee-keeping and honey-making.

Speaker: Mike Doherty
Mike is a Director at the North Olympic History Center and will talk to us about the unique archeology of the Sequim Prairie. Since 1948, The North Olympic History Center, (formerly the Clallam County Historical Society) has been dedicated to keeping the history of the North Olympic Peninsula alive.
