Clubhouse Exterior Makeover

SPGC has been saving money for years in anticipation that the roof would need to be replaced and 2023 was the year. Allen Roofing removed the old roof and replaced it with a black composition 30 year roof. The Board carefully considered colors that would enhance the building and surrounding plantings. Three Crowns Inc. painted the siding a light cream/yellow with white trim. Black/Gray louvered shutters were added to all of the windows. The attic air vents and bench were painted black for additional contrast. The wood block quilt that was originally designed and constructed by member Ester DeWeese was repaired by Suzan Mannisto and Kathy Steichen. It is now mounted on the East side of the building, visible from the entrance drive. Park guests and members alike are very happy with the much needed update.
