Della LaCour’s garden tour included a walk through some of the 5 acres (some undeveloped) of the LaCour property.
We enjoyed the geodesic dome greenhouse that Della and her husband constructed during the Covid lockdown.
Also included was a mini tour through their rustic woods garden. This area includes a spring fed creek,
prairie wetlands, and the ever evolving landscaped beds surrounding their passive solar, bermed house.
We viewed the wild daffodils and skunk cabbage along with a patch of Rosemary all in bloom. Located in
the Dungeness area wetlands, this tour was very interesting to learn how Della and her husband have
adapted to this environment.
